2015 U17 World Hockey Challenge
The World U17 Men’s Hockey Challenge was co-hosted by Dawson Creek and Fort St. John from October 30 to November 7, 2015.
Team Canada White took home gold against Russia in the gold medal match with a final score of Canada White 6 - Russia 2.
3 Canadian teams and 5 international teams from the United States, Russia, Finland, Sweden and the Czech Republic competed in the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. This international event included 22 competition games and 4 exhibition games. In Fort St. John the games were played at the North Peace Arena and in Dawson Creek they were played at the Encana Events Centre.

The City of Fort St. John would like to express a sincere and warm THANK-YOU to all volunteers who helped make this event possible. Over 200 volunteers from the Fort St. John Host Committee came together to help make this event such a huge success.
