Outdoor Summer Walking Challenge

Hit your favourite trail, park, or outdoor spot and start walking! Use the tracking sheet to record your progress over nine weeks. Prizes will be awarded for the most time spent walking, and the most distance logged. Track your walks honestly, using tools like Fitbits for reference, but don't count steps. Tracking sheets are available from June 28 at fortstjohn.ca or the Visitor Centre. Submit completed sheets by the end of August by emailing them to recreation@fortstjohn.ca or dropping them off at the Visitor Information Centre.

The City of Fort St. John Recreation & Leisure Guide is a quarterly publication highlighting all programs, events, courses, and activities the Community Services Department puts on. The guide also features information on parks, facility bookings, bylaws, and contains a community directory for organizations that offer specific recreation and leisure programs.

The Recreation & Leisure Guide is only available online; however, hard copies are available for viewing at the North Peace Leisure Pool and Fort St. John Visitor Centre (inside the Pomeroy Sport Centre).
