Remembrance Day Parade and Service

The Fort St. John Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 is hosting the annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Monday, November 11, 2024.  The parade will start at 10:30 am from the Cenotaph on 102 Street and 105 Avenue, marching past the Royal Canadian Legion to City Hall and returning to the Cenotaph.

There will be a service inside the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 at 12 noon, followed by games at 1 pm and a dinner at 6 pm. All ages are welcome to attend.

Road closures will start as early as 8:30 am and will reopen around 11:30 am.  Service groups marching in the parade will line up on 102 Street and into the School District 60 Office rear parking lot. Spectators are encouraged to view the parade along 105 Avenue and along 100 Street.

Additionally, BC Transit is offering free modified transit services on Remembrance Day.
