City's Development Services team moves to old RCMP Building

The City of Fort St. John’s Development Services team, which includes planning, engineering, building, business licensing and economic development services, has officially moved to a new location at the former RCMP building, 10648 - 100 Street.

As of Monday, September 16, 2024, front counter services will be available to the public at the new Development Services Building. This move is projected to save the City approximately $175,000 annually. Staff have already begun transitioning from the previous office in the Beatton Building, and while every effort is being made to ensure a smooth transition, there may be minor disruptions during this time. We appreciate your patience as we work to minimize any inconvenience.
