North Peace Leisure Facility site identification
August 29, 2022
In collaboration with the City of Fort St John and the District of Taylor, the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) in order to identify lands that could be acquired as a site for a potential future recreation facility. This is the latest step taken by the North Peace Leisure Facility Replacement Steering Committee towards the completion of a feasibility study for a new facility. The intention of this step is to identify land available for sale or donation for the future home of the North Peace Leisure Facility.
The submission deadline for proposals is September 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Submissions will then be evaluated by the Committee and the Board of the PRRD. Further information about this opportunity can be viewed online here.
This step has come after the Committee completed extensive community engagement throughout the North Peace Region earlier this year and we are pleased to announce that the 2022 Engagement Summary Report is now available on the PRRD website.
