City responds to Step 3 of BC's Restart Plan

Yesterday, the Province of BC announced the move to Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan and the City of Fort St. John will be adjusting our operations accordingly. Effective July 1, 2021:

• Masks will no longer be mandatory in all City facilities. They will be recommended for those who are not fully vaccinated and welcomed for anyone who wishes to wear one.
• Citizens are asked to stay home and not enter any City facility if they are feeling ill.
• Physical barriers and directional traffic flow signage may remain in place at some facilities.
• Bookings in our facilities and parks will be available following the updated Public Health guidelines.

Additional changes are expected over the next several weeks and will be communicated as they are available. We appreciate your patience as we adjust our operations to Step 3. We would like to thank the residents and businesses of Fort St. John for their ongoing efforts to protect our community and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
