2018 General Local Election Nomination Packages Available

Thinking about running for Fort St. John City Council in the 2018 General Local Election? Interested individuals are able to pick up nomination packages at City Hall or at www.fortstjohn.ca/municipal-elections.
Additionally, potential candidates are encouraged to attend a Candidate 101 Workshop on August 29 from 7 until 9 pm in Council Chambers. This short session will cover eligibility, the nomination process, roles and responsibilities, policies and bylaws, time commitment, and compensation.
Candidates must submit their completed nomination package between September 4 at 9 am and September 14 at 4 pm.
