Skate Factory

Is it art? Is it sport? You get to decide in this NEW and exciting workshop!

Join city staff and Victory Skateboards for an art infused skateboard deck design class followed by skateboard assembly and demo session with Victory Skateboards.

This course is for grades 4-12 and is hosted on October 18 from 6-8pm and October 19 from 9am-4pm.

In this workshop registrants will design and paint their very own skateboard deck. Once their deck artwork is complete, they will seal their design once it’s dry, add some grip tape, and then Victory Skateboard will stop by and help us assemble and show us some basic skateboarding skills.

Each participant will leave the session with a brand new skateboard they custom designed and built. For the demo portion of the workshop, all participants MUST wear a helmet in order to participate.
