North Peace Historical Society AGM with guest speaker Wayne Sawchuk

Join us for the North Peace Historical society’s AGM on Wednesday, March 5th at 7 p.m. at the Fort St. John North Peace Museum. Wayne Sawchuk will be our guest speaker and will talk about the Muskwa-Kechika. Drawing from 40 years of travel in the mountains, Wayne will present on the history, present state, and future of the Muskwa Kechika Management Area. How did the area come to be? What are the forces of change acting on the land base and wildlife? What is the situation with the government, management, and the MK Advisory Board going forward?

Tickets are $10 and will be on sale starting Monday, February 10th. The AGM will be followed by tea, coffee, and baked goods. The gift shop will be open. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 28.
