Strategic Plan
The City of Fort St. John has numerous guiding documents, such as the Official Community Plan, that provide the foundation for the delivery of all City services and programs and set the long-term course for Fort St. John. These documents are created with extensive community input and feedback and are translated into a clear framework of initiatives to be undertaken by City staff through the Strategic Plan.
The 2023 - 2027 Strategic Plan contains five strategic pillars that address our commitment to promoting sustainable economic development, managing our assets effectively, building strong relationships and advocating for our city’s interests, fostering a vibrant community, and achieving operational excellence.
