We are in the process of redesigning our Visitor Guide for 2025 and are hoping you might have some awesome photos featuring YOUR favourite parts of our community and region.
- Photos need to be high resolution for print (300 dpi is ideal), however, they don’t need to be taken on a professional camera – anyone, any age, can take the photos.
- We would like most photos to include people, even if they are selectively out of focus or maybe only partly in view. Facial expressions should be candid and authentic.
- We want a mix of close ups and big vistas, action shots, and quiet moments.
- Photos selected for use in the Visitor Guide will receive photo credit in the 2025 Visitor Guide and a $20 gift card to a local business.

Photos needed for the Visitor Guide might include:
- Local wildlife*
- Interesting plants, and medicinal/edible plants found locally
- Northern lights*
- Boating & fishing (maybe jet boats?)
- Bird watching*
- Golf, biking, or any other outdoor activity
- Camping & RVing
- Experiencing restaurants, breweries, and shopping
- Walking and hiking trails in town and regionally
- Farmers Market
- Arts & Culture spaces, events, or activities
- Events and activities in city parks and the local region
- Photos featuring different seasons
